This work is about expectancy under pressure.

It was painted from the tension between drought and promise, between waiting and knowing. Not wishful thinking, but conviction that what has been delayed is not denied.

Meaning & Inspiration

The title draws from the account of Elijah standing before a sky that showed no sign of rain, yet declaring what he could not yet see. The small cloud on the horizon was enough.

Breakthrough does not begin with evidence, it begins with assurance.

Rain here represents provision, restoration, and movement after stillness. The work does not dismiss the dry season. It acknowledges it. But it refuses to accept it as final.
