In the painting, the king stands alone in colour, warm and undeniable, while the armoured figures beside him sit in black and white, aligned beneath a crown they've chosen to serve.

Meaning & Inspiration

Crown and Conquest declares what 1 Timothy 6:15 and Revelation 19:16 already declare: there is one king of kings, one Lord of lords, and through him the battle is already won. The fight most people are still fighting was decided before they entered it. What's left isn't conquest. It's alignment.
